    MEET NATHAN MAGSIG

    Nathan Magsig is a member of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors and former Mayor of Clovis. A Fresno County native and the son of a local pastor, his parents raised and instilled in him the value of service to others.

    Committed to lifelong learning, Nathan has a Master of Science degree in Criminology and a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University Fresno. He is also a licensed general contractor, licensed lead inspector, and energy management and building performance specialist.

    In 2001, Magsig was elected to the Clovis City Council.

    In 2016, he was first elected to the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. He represents District 5, which includes the communities of Clovis, southeast Fresno, Sanger, Auberry, and the foothill communities including Huntington Lake, Shaver Lake, Hume Lake, and Pine Flat.

    Along with his service on Fresno County Board of Supervisors and Clovis City Council, Magsig has served as a youth pastor, legislative aide in the California Legislature, Executive Director of a nonprofit affordable housing developer, and Energy Director for the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission.

    He is a proud husband to his wife of 20 years, Julie, and father to three exuberant sons: Mason, Michael, and Mark.
